Check Website Traffic Stats
How to check my website’s traffic ?
I have started a new website its like www.example.com
I get statistics report here like www.example.com/stats. Looking in that it has reports of traffic.
In the daily sum report it shows a table where its written
1.Sunday2,586(Number of requests)72(Number of page requests)
Now I want to know what is what in this.. How much trafrfic (clicks) am I getting… someone help me plz

This is kind of a best guess based on the information you provided, but the first (larger) number is most likely the total hits, while the second (smaller) number is page views. Total hits includes the total number of files downloaded – every page, every image, every included file counts as a hit. The page requests number is a more accurate gauge of traffic.
That said, these numbers aren’t really that helpful. Unique visitors, traffic sources, and search terms are just some of the metrics that are useful in determining the amount and quality of traffic you’re getting. If you need more detailed stats, I recommend Google Analytics. Visit http://www.google.com/analytics.
